Types of Yoga
We offer various yoga forms for the practice of yoga:
Easy flow yoga | light intensity training
Easy flow Yoga is an 'easy' to follow stretch flow in which the stretching postures and stretching exercises flow smoothly into each other. In this class, alternating standing and sitting/lying stretches. The easy flow improves joint flexibility. This increases your range of motion. Adding deep abdominal breathing increases the sense of calm in your body. This lesson is always concluded with a relaxation exercise. This relaxation ensures that the effects of the exercises are enhanced in your body.
Yin Yoga | very light intensity training
Yin Yoga is a slow, gentle yoga form. This form contains calm postures (asanas) that are held for a longer period of time (three to five minutes). Because you are in a position for a relatively long time, you deepen the existing effect at the muscle level through to the organs. The connective tissue gets time to be stretched & hydrated. In addition, you keep your joints flexible. Adding deep abdominal breathing increases the sense of calm in your body. This class always ends with a relaxation relaxation. This relaxation ensures that the effects of the exercises are enhanced in your body.
Yogalates | moderate intensity training
Yogalates is a yoga form in which strength and flexibility alternate. In this form, the stretches from yoga and the core exercises from pilates are merged into an effective training to support the spine. The muscles that contribute to correct posture are called upon. To optimise the oxygen intake in the muscles, the relaxing stretching exercises and the (dynamic) strength exercises are based on conscious breathing techniques. This golden combination also ensures maximum cleansing & stimulation of blood circulation. This class always ends with a relaxation relaxation. This relaxation ensures that the effects of the exercises are enhanced in your body.
Power yoga | moderate intensity training
Power yoga is a powerful, versatile form of yoga. The shape contains various strength and flexibility elements that together ensure an effective training of your entire body. Through a pleasant alternation of exercise and relaxation, the power yoga classes provide stability, flexibility and strengthening of the various muscle groups. This class always ends with a relaxation relaxation. This relaxation ensures that the effects of the exercises are enhanced in your body.
For the practice of all yoga forms, participation is barefoot and wearing comfortable clothing. In addition, it is desirable not to consume anything about 30 minutes in advance. This way you prevent nausea and / or stomach complaints.
